Financial management & internal control
Organizational-purpose spending, documented approvals, transaction support, restricted-fund identification, reconciliation, expense records and donor-reporting discipline.
Governance & accountability
YSI Africa is building the governance, financial-control, safeguarding, monitoring and evidence systems required for responsible environmental work and institutional partnership. This public page summarizes the structure; detailed records and exceptions are handled through due diligence.

Governance
YSI has archived its constitutional record and is verifying the current director/governing-body record through authoritative corporate documentation. The public site does not convert subscribers, members, staff or advisors into directors unless the governing record supports that title.
Executive leadership
Trevor leads organizational strategy, institutional development, fundraising direction, partnership development, public representation and executive oversight. YSI distinguishes executive responsibility from technical credentials that require separate evidence.
Financial accountability
YSI is establishing and verifying organizational banking, approved signatory controls, transaction support, reconciliations and restricted-fund tracking. Sensitive account details are not published. Banking verification will be made available to qualified institutional counterparts when the setup is fully evidenced.
Funding history: YSI is a newly incorporated organization and does not present itself as having already administered a major institutional grant. Earlier founder experience is kept separate from YSI's own institutional funding history.
Policies & safeguards
Organizational-purpose spending, documented approvals, transaction support, restricted-fund identification, reconciliation, expense records and donor-reporting discipline.
Prevention, PSEA, child protection, dignity, non-retaliation, responsible communications and reporting standards.
Risk assessment, stop-work authority, PPE, waste-handling controls, hazardous-material isolation, coastal/water safety, incident reporting and first aid.
Website summaries do not substitute for underlying records. Qualified counterparties may request the relevant adopted policies and supporting institutional documents.
Theory of change
YSI uses field experience to identify real environmental and operating problems, tests practical responses, documents results, improves the model and scales only where evidence supports it.
Monitoring & evidence
The detailed status of the historical 20,000+ kg waste-removal figure is published on the Evidence page. Going forward, YSI's monitoring standard is designed around auditable weights, dates, sites, material categories, destinations, responsible staff and supporting field records.
Due diligence & downloads
Registration, governance, banking verification, policy records, project documentation and financial-control information can be supplied to qualified institutional counterparts as the relevant records are completed and verified.
